What is a DAF?
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to set aside assets for charitable giving and support the nonprofit organizations you choose.
Why Give to ICHA Through Your DAF?
Your DAF was created to help you be intentional about your charitable giving. A grant to ICHA puts those charitable dollars to work strengthening healthcare capacity across Africa.

- Train Healthcare Professionals: Help physicians and nurses develop practical skills through Tiny Feet Big Steps conferences and ongoing education.
- Provide Practical Clinical Tools: Help make resources such as the Every Breath Counts handbook and app available to healthcare professionals working in resource-limited settings.
- Strengthen Hospitals & Healthcare Systems: Support initiatives that help hospitals and clinicians build sustainable capacity to provide better care.
- Advance Research & Innovation: Support collaboration, research, and new approaches to improving neonatal and pediatric healthcare.

How Giving Through a DAF Works
1. Fund Your DAF: You contribute cash or eligible assets to your DAF and may receive a charitable tax deduction when you make that contribution, subject to applicable tax rules.
2. Choose ICHA: When you’re ready to give, log in to your DAF provider and select Institute for Child Healthcare Africa (ICHA) as the charitable organization you want to support.
3. Give to ICHA: Enter the amount you would like to give and submit your grant request. Your DAF sponsoring organization will process the gift and send it to ICHA.
