APMC Laboratory provides accessible testing for APMC patients and the broader Arusha community, including individuals, physicians, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
- Appointments & Walk-Ins: Visit the laboratory directly for available tests with or without a clinic appointment.
- Pediatric Care: Child-friendly specimen collection and laboratory care suited to children and families.
- Rapid Results: Selected rapid panels provide results in approximately 45 minutes.
- Clinician Referrals: Doctors and healthcare facilities can refer patients directly to APMC Laboratory.

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tests available at APMC Laboratory
A practical range of routine and rapid diagnostic services for children and adults.
Hematology: CBC, ESR and related hematology testing.
Clinical Chemistry: Glucose, kidney, liver, lipid and other chemistry tests.
Hormonal Testing: Thyroid, reproductive hormone and fertility-related testing.
Rapid Infection Testing: Multi-target antigen testing for selected respiratory pathogens and parasites.
Urinalysis: Routine urine testing with microscopy when indicated.
Stool & Parasite Testing: Routine stool examination and selected rapid parasite detection (Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba histolytica)
Respiratory Panel: SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, Influenza B, Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), Adenovirus, Group A Streptococcus (Approx. 45 minute results).
